This is an annual tradition now I guess, here's the 2025 data on Power Platform user growth.
There are 56 million monthly active users now, which is a 27% increase this year compared to Q3 with 44 million (we reported on Q4 on the previous article) which is amazing, considering the post covid cost cutting exercises we have been seeing from enterprises.
The clear winner? Copilot.
More than 230,000 organizations – including 90% of the Fortune 500 – have already used Copilot Studio.

Here's what I said last year's article, CoPilot was bound to grow, and with it, would grow the Power Platform.

The Salesforce vs Microsoft story:
As of early 2025, Salesforce reported having over 150,000 customer organizations using their platform. Now with Copilot being used by close to 1.5 times more orgs and salesforce going all on on AI, this gives Microsoft a huge lead on Salesforce due to the curiosity factor and if they manage to make it sticky, they have a clear winning path ahead. This is in sharp contrast to 4 year ago where Microsoft wasn't even a serious contender to Salesforce and it's offerings. But with Copilot, it might win the low code and automation market, and with it, the CRM market. After all, a useful CRM is the one which users want to use, or in the case of smart Copilots, don't have to use at all.
