A sign that everyone is ignoring?

So, after watching heaps of videos on AI and why it might replace us and how AI might not be what it is being claimed as, I had this thought the other day, what is the best measure of AI adaption in the workplace?

I mean they had GPT 2 before everyone else for a year and they still use cutting edge models from Claude, OpenAI and many more internally.

So now, there are plenty of measures we could take but let’s take the best measure for an AI enabled SAAS company; new noteworthy features or products.

And so far I see no new striking feature releases

Of course Microsoft CEO is claiming all sorts of improvements but they say, to get the root of everything, go to the source. And for this claim of AI solving software engineering, there is zero evidence. If a multi-trillion dollar company with infinite compute cant spin up 100 software “Agents” to build something cool, no one can.

Software development, the one thing they claim to have solved, remains undefeated.

Now of course this does not change the 13% IBM stock collapse due to Anthropic announcement that Claude can code in COBOL but it ignores something trivial; proof. Don’t tell us what it can do; show us.
